Is the haunting in connecticut a true story?

In the movie The haunting in Connecticut, the part where Aickman (the old guy with the glasses) did he actually take the bodies and cut phrases into them? And put sand in the coffins? Is the haunting in connecticut a true story?
It's true that there was a man who did that. As for the haunting, that all depends on your interpretation. I personally think not.Is the haunting in connecticut a true story?
No, that is not true.

Originally a family of renters reported some strange noises in their walls. Later, the cable TV show decided to do a piece on the story, but after interviewing the family, they concluded that there wasn't enough to make a segment. So, the father of the family encouraged the screen writers to ';make up something scary,'; which they did. Then the movie took the original TV show and embellished it to make it even more scary.

The original account was basically some noises in the walls. No bodies, no former morgue, etc.
Its only partially true-

The Bible makes it abundantly clear that there are spirit beings, both good and evil. But the Bible says that spirits of deceased human beings remaining on earth to “haunt” the living is not possible.

Hebrews 9:27 declares, “Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” That is what happens to a person’s soul-spirit after death—judgment. The result of this judgment is heaven for the believer (2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23) and hell for the unbeliever (Matthew 25:46; Luke 16:22-24). There is no in-between. There is no possibility of remaining on earth in spirit form as a “ghost.” If there are such things as ghosts, according to the Bible, they absolutely cannot be the disembodied spirits of deceased human beings nor can reincarnation occur.

Its actually a demon you could get hurt and end in the emergency room.

Demons are fallen angels, angels who rebelled against God. Demons are evil, deceptive, and destructive. According to 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, demons masquerade as “angels of light” and as “servants of righteousness.” Appearing as a “ghost” and impersonating a deceased human being definitely is a disguise that demons use each time.

Satan is the father of all lies. He gives false information on many things even how to banish. Trust nothing but Christ
The movie was based on true events, but the Original people that lived there could have just been scared and let their imagination run wild. If I lived in a house that I knew had been a funeral home before I probably would see some weird stuff, too. Whether or not everything in the movie was true, no one really knows besides the people that lived there. Also, it is a movie so Hollywood made what they knew would sell.

I did not find any thing on google, so I don't think so.
The Snedeker family, rented an old house in Southington, Connecticut in 1986. Allen and Carmen Snedeker moved in with their daughter and three young sons. While exploring their new home, Carmen found strange items in the basement: tools used by morticians.

The family soon discovered — to their horror — that their home had once been a funeral parlor, and the eldest son began seeing ghosts and terrifying visions. The experiences spread to other family members and got worse: Both parents said they were raped and sodomized by demons; one day as Carmen mopped the kitchen floor, the water suddenly turned blood red and smelled of decaying flesh; and so on.

Finally the family contacted a pair of self-styled ';demonologists'; and ';ghost hunters,'; Ed and Lorraine Warren, who arrived and proclaimed the Snedeker house to be infested with demons.
Its based on a true story. Discovery channel did a documentary on it. You should see that before you see the movie. Movies like to add things for the shock factor. My wife, and I believe in ghosts. We believe that we live in a haunted house. We have seen, and heard ghosts. The last time my wife saw a ghost in our house was when she came home from working her 3-11 shift. Normally our dogs greet her at the door. When she opened the door our dogs did not greet her. As she came in she saw a tall man standing in our living room with our dogs at this feet. When she gasped he disappeared, and our dogs came to greet her. This is just one of the sightings, we have had. Our ghost do not seem to want to hurt us. Most seem to be residual haunting. Like a video playback.
Yes it was i first saw A haunting in conneticut like 2 yrs ago in A Haunting in Dish channel 183 i think in the Discovery channel it was good but i haven't seen the movie but everything that happened there was true!
