Sign contract to enter haunted house? myth or true? 10pts!?

any info goes a long way. ever since i was young, ive heard of haunted house attractions that supposedly make you sign a legal contract to enter. the story goes that they can touch, grab, even drag you along. now this may sound like a dumb question, but most myths have some sort of origin. is there one for this one? is there, or was there ever a such haunted house? most researched answer obtains the pts!Sign contract to enter haunted house? myth or true? 10pts!?
There are actually several that you have to sign a waiver..one of the most popular i have heard of is the panic room..you even get your money backif you make it all the way through!

It is called CASTLE OF CHAOS. It contains 3 parts of the haunted house, you can chose which to go in.

#1 is A vampire haunted house, which is a regular haunted house, but will still scare the living daylights out of you.

#2 is a 3-d haunted effect of makeup art by a group of 3-d artists. The actors are dressed up to blend in, to really freak you out.

#3 is the ';x-treme';. It is the one you are talking about. You must sign a waiver and wear a plastic jacket because the actors can smudge blood on you and stuff. The website says:

';The ultimate x-treme will mess you up for life. playing upon the most realistic fears in life, the ultimate x-treme may be too much for you to handle. This area will have you expierience fears you've only dreamt about. Do not enter this area unless you have taken extreme consideration to the waiver's conditions. graphic scenes, ticht spaces, craw spaces, small drops, water, and very tight confinement will lead to your very first year of ';pushing the envelope';.
Many haunted houses (or trails, etc) require that you sign a waiver. A waiver is a legal contract. It's not because the employees will drag you around necessarily, but because there are a lot of hazards... it's dark in a haunted house, and people can easily trip, fall down stairs, etc... in a haunted forest, people can freak out and run into a tree, stumble over a rock, all sorts of things. If you're epileptic, you're acknowledge that you could get a seizure from strobe lights that will be present. If you have a weak heart, and someone scares you, they don't want to be responsible for the heart attack. If you bring little kids and they're so terrified they are scarred for life, the company putting on the haunted house doesn't want to be liable for visits to the psychologist. It's just to make sure that if somebody gets hurt, they won't be sued.
I have been to the Winchester Mystery House, and I must say that is a very strange house. I on the other hand don't believe in ghosts, and send me to a haunted house and I would come out perfectly fine since I don't believe in ghosts.
yes there are but there for scary effects don't worry.
