i saw the movie last night TWICE in a row and omg it was so scary. i give it a 7/10 thoughWhat is the true story of the haunting in connecticut?
On the documentary on the discovery channel, how the family told it was that one of their sons was diagnosed with Hodgkins disease and was very sick so they had to move and they moved into a house quickly that they didnt really look around until after moving in. They found out that it had been a funeral home before. Their son was put on medication and that was when he started acting strange and seeing things. He claimed he saw ghostly images in his basement bedroom and a man that talked to him. His family was struggling financially with medical bills and noticed that the electricity bill was really high. They found out he had been sleeping with his light on every night to avoid seeing the ghosts. His dad was angry and told him ghosts dont exist and what not and took out his ceiling light bulb. Things got worse after that. The boy began dressing all in black and writing evil poems. He claimed the ghost man told him to do bad things to his family. The familys niece/cousin comes for a visit. She notices the changes in the boys behavior immediately. She is awoken at night by the boy pulling off her blankets. The boy is punished and sent to his room in the basement. A later night the girl wears her rosary beads when she goes to sleep and claims an unseen force pulled them off her neck and broke them. She is so freaked out that she ends up leaving. The parents end up sending the boy to a nut house. Then the parents start experiencing evil things happening, objects moving on their own and a phone ringing with no one on the other line and what not. The father almost gets run over by his own truck while at work with no one driving it. They have supernatural investigators come in and look at the house along with a priest to exorcise it. They all slept in the living room and said they could feel their mattresses moving on their own. While everyone else was asleep, the priest decides to check out the basement and he opens the door only to see a big fire ball with a evil looking face coming up at him and he quickly closes the door and leaves the house saying he will never ever forget the image and would never step back into the house agian. They find a new priest who exorcises the house for good. The family said they felt like all evil was gone but decided it to move anyway. They got their son out from the nut house and his disease had gone away mysteriously.

The Haunting in Connecticut is a horror/thriller film released on March 27th, 2009 which is based on the allegedly true story of the Snedeker family's encounter with the paranormal in Southington, Connecticut.

Promotional material for the movie claims that it is based on the ';true story'; of paranormal activities experienced by the Snedeker family in the 1980s.[5] The Snedekers moved into a house in Southington, Conn., and would later claim that it was plagued by some manner of demonic presence. Carmen Snedeker described the demons; ';One of the demons was very thin, with high cheekbones, long black hair and pitch black eyes. Another had white hair and eyes, wore a pinstriped tuxedo, and his feet were constantly in motion. Also one had a very big smile that on each side touch his eyes, and he was very short.';[citation needed] The house was examined by Ed and Lorraine Warren. The story follows that mortuary equipment was discovered in the basement, and Lorraine Warren would later state, ';In the master bedroom, there was a trap door where the coffins were brought up, and during the night, you would hear that chain hoist, as if a coffin were being brought up. But when Ed went to check, there was nobody down there. Lorraine Warren has told the Associated Press that the house was cleared of any presence after a seance conducted in 1988.[6]

A Haunting in Connecticut
idk so dont tell me :D i wanna get scared
There is no such things as demons and ghosts. You only see them if you are high on drugs. The movie is fake. They only say it's based on true events so people would come and watch it.And you, you believe in demons? Maybe you should spend some time with God instead of partying all the time.
