Whats more true the amittyville horror or the haunting in Connecticut?

Amityville seems way more believable but idk does anyone know anythingWhats more true the amittyville horror or the haunting in Connecticut?
no one can know that except the people who experienced it. I haven't seen the movie for connecticut, but I watched the real story on Discovery and it was a really good story. I believe these people. I especialy feel sorru for their oldest son, I can't imagine being in a position like that. Thats probably the scariest most terrible thing a kid his age could expierince. Not only does he have these vicious things all around him but nobody believed him or cared till it was too late.Whats more true the amittyville horror or the haunting in Connecticut?
I live in CT, and in my newspaper there was an article about the house. The people who live there now report no hauntings in the house %26amp; that they've never had any problems. The people who lived there when it was ';haunted'; won't make any statements about it. Apprantly, the movie is based on a documentary that was on the Discovery Channel, which was based on a fictional book. The author of the book took some of the claims of the people who used to live there to make the book, but realized he didn't have enough evidence to base it on a true story. It seems like its all made up.
Amityville is based on a true story :Basically, very long story short: Ronald Defeo Jr shot his whole familly then claimed he was made to do it by voices he heard in his house (the ';amityville house';)-112 Ocean Avenue, Amityville. He then called the police pretending hed found them that way upon his return home. He changed his story many times and was proven to have mental issues with violence etc and set to jail eventually. The Lutz familly moved into the house and claimed in their 28 day stay that all these bad things happend so they called the warrens, two paranormal investigators who told them to leave. Again their stories kept changing, books were made and reports etc. People have lived there since and claimed no issues it was believed to be a money hoax as the lutzes were in debt. but them movies have seriously distorted the events and most of them are unrelated spin offs about different fictional ideas with some bits of the supposed real events added for effect. George Luttz is even suing the new film makers for slander and misinformation. I did a whole study on this and directed %26amp; starred in it for a drama piece at college! The Conneticut story is also supposed to be true but again with movies things get twisted.
No idea about 'Haunting in Connecticut'; but Amityville was pretty dubious as a haunting.

True, a terrible thing happened in that house (Ronald Defeo shooting his entire family dead) but the Jay Anson book and the subsequent movie were - at best - exaggerations of what happened afterwards. At worst, it's total fiction. The sequels to Amityville Horror are certainly fiction.
From the standpoint of tragic and violent death causing more 'haunting' ability, I would say that Amityville would be more likely to be true. That having been said though, a lot of the bodies that would have been in the funeral home in Connecticut may have been traumatic deaths as well. I still think that Amityville would be though.
ok amittyville is real a man snapped and killed his wife and kids with shotgun and very spooky things happen in that house like crosses turn around 360 d

and HIC is said to dead people on chains would rise up in the night

also so said real
amittyville horror........they stated in the news already that haunting in vonneticut is not a true story because the people who lived in that house were drug addicts.
my friend says the amytiville horror
idk! thats the scariest thing in this question
Neither. ';The Ghosts of Abu Ghraib'; is the most authentic.
Both are fiction plain and simple fiction.
