The house was the inspiration for Stephen King's Rose Red.

If you're ever in California, go there. It's pretty cool.Do you know a true haunted mansion???
That place from the movie was built, and besides it's just the front of the house with no rooms and no back to it.

There are several mansions that are believed to be haunted. The Winchester Mystery House in California is a great example. That place would be tops on my list, but I'm going to provide you with an example of a certain house in Iowa, since that's where I'm from.

Ham House in Dubuque, Iowa.
The mansion in the movie are at Disney theme parks all over the world. The original is in Disneyland in Anaheim, and there are those that say the ride is haunted.

As for haunted locations, just watch Ghost Hunters on SciFi and you will see that they are all over the world as well.

I personally haunt a 'Real' haunted location in Southern California, called the Heritage Haunt.

Check out are pictures on Flickr and our videos on Youtube
My aging memory eludes me as far as mansions go, but there is the Queen Mary ship in San Francisco.

If you're on the East Coast, just about any large Civil War battlefield has at least one ghost there. Try Gettysburg, PA.

Look up ';Haunted Houses, mansions, fields, ships, hospitals, cemetaries'; and type in the state. I'm sure you'll find more than enough.

Hope this helps.
