They do this only in Disneyland, not at Walt Disney World in Orlando. It's done in Disneyland because most visitors are locals, so they do it to keep it 'fresh' or different. It's A Small World also gets a holiday makeover.
No attraction currently gets a holiday makeover in Walt Disney World where they treat it as if each guest may be visiting for their first time. Country Bear Jamboree used to get a holiday overlay but they haven't done this in years now.Is it true that when halloween is around they turn the ';haunted mansion'; ride?
Yep, they do it the first week in October and keep it up until December.
